Headlines That Matter

đź›’ Finance people are boring (but worth listening too). Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller gave a short and fascinating interview of his take on the overall economy.

Basically, he said we are now living through one of the most exciting times to be an investor with new technology like A.I. and cryptocurrency, but his view also stipulates that the Federal government needs to stop spending so much money and over regulating the economy.

Our take: No one said finance guys are charismatic…but Wall Street would give this 5 min watch a standing ovation. It does bother us that absolutely no one in politics anymore seems to talk about balancing a budget or worries about our ballooning federal bureaucracy (the largest employer in the history of the human race after all is the United States government). Everything coming out of both major political parties today just seems to not have any family’s best interest at heart, and we wish that would change.

Dinner Discussion âť“

Last week’s question: How have you tried to deal with inflation in your family?

Results: This one was a healthy mix of families mostly trying to cut costs, earn more, or both. In our family it has been a mixture as well and we want to take a moment to acknowledge all our families out there fighting inflation. You are not alone!

How'd we do this week?
